Thomas, the Translator

Translation, which started as a hobby, later became an important source of additional income. Over the decades, I have translated almost 100 novels from English to Hungarian, mostly romantic suspenses and adventure novels. During this work, my vocabulary improved a lot - unfortunately, most of this vocabulary is passive. It's unfortunate, but I have very few opportunities to speak in English and listen to native English speakers (almost exclusively when I watch videos and TV shows), but I understand practically everything in written form easily and I am confident that my language skills will improve at the speed of the lightning in a native environment.
